MCLV Style: Classic Workwear

I’ve shown some love for the classic pencil skirt before {Pencil Skirt: Day-To-Night} but I wanted to share an example of my work style. No, I don’t usually wear head-to-toe black during the Spring, but it was a Friday and I prefer clothes that don’t show stains when I’m traveling! πŸ™‚

I fell in love with this Peter Pan TopΒ when it arrived – It’s a really versatile, fun piece. I’m a fan of Peter Pan collars and the studs are perfect for Spring, this piece looks great with jeans, shorts, or for work with a classic pencil skirt like this one.

What’s your go-to style for work?

  1. Blimey Caity! Look at you! You still want me to give you a reason why I envy your closet?
I tell you, look beautiful with opened hair. Having your hair in a bun makes you look more professional! haha.. on a serious note, this is a perfect workwear! I LOVE peter pan collars. Taking the opportunity to wear to them to work is an amazing thought! πŸ™‚

  8. You look fantastic! Very few people can pull off an all-black enseble without looking either existentialist or faux-New York, but you do it with aplomb! I love the combination of the pencil skirt with the loose top and the strappy heels — it all comes together perfectly. πŸ™‚

I’m a huge fan of pencil skirts, and I’m looking to pick a few up for the summer. I really never need a reason to go shopping!
