Camille K: Vintage Jewelry For Spring
I saw a picture of the Camille K Palladio necklace a few weeks ago and it was love at first sight. It’s dramatic and bold – The perfect statement piece for Spring – And it comes in a gorgeous warm gold that’s really flattering and versatile.

I love mixing styles of jewelry and I love mixing metals so I was thrilled with the pieces I wore in this look – The silver bracelet & ring paired with the dramatic antique gold necklace was a stunning combination.
You can shop these one-of-a-kind pieces and more on the Camille K website right here. Can you imagine a more gorgeous gift to get your mom for Mother’s Day?
Do you prefer gold or silver? Or do you like to mix metals like I do?

Camille K Atelier
I recently made the trek from San Francisco to Mountain View to visit the Camille K Atelier, and believe me when I say that this trip was absolutely worth the holiday traffic and schizophrenic Winter weather.
The cavernous showroom had a distinctly Parisian feel with the fabulous wall art, round glass display cases, and black velvet jewelry busts to show off the one-of-a-kind jewels.
Aside from the phenomenal jewelry – I’ll get to that in just one moment – my favorite part of their studio were the three giant floor-to-ceiling mood boards. Swoon. I immediately started brainstorming ways to make this kind of larger-than-life artistic project a feasible option for my apartment.
The decorating style of the shop combined with the beautiful vintage & vintage-inspired pieces themselves created an amazing experience – You were transported to a chic little French atelier in the 30’s or 40’s.
Of course I couldn’t help but try on a few pieces and I finally finished up the trip by buying myself a little treat – This Cheri Bracelet with a starburst charm hanging from the clasp. It’s classic but eye-catching and unique – The precise reasons that I worship vintage jewelry.
I highly recommend making a trip to Camille K and with Valentine’s Day quickly approaching I highly recommend taking a look at their website and dropping some hints to your beau!
Holiday Discoveries
I love the holidays – don’t get me wrong – but usually by mid-December I run out of steam & all I can do is day-dream about sleeping in, weekends without holiday parties & social obligations, or just taking a vacation from my non-stop life in general. And this year has been no different – However I found that I did a much better job of staying on top of my responsibilities this year so here are some photos of the fun things that kept me in the holiday spirit throughout November & December!
{I may not have made it out for the Christmas tree lighting – But I’ve made it to Union Square to take pictures in front of the giant tree not once, but twice this year. A+!}
{Shopping – online & in-stores – has been a major part of my life the last month or so. From Christmas presents to host & hostess gifts to completely unnecessary additions to my wardrobe.}
{Related to the shopping issues is the “attending events held IN shops” part of the last few months – From swoon worthy vintage jewelry trunk shows to Marrakech-inspired clothing lines that’ll make you yearn for Spring.}
{I was especially excited to attend the Harputs presents Camille K trunk show because it gave me a great opportunity to check out smaller, local clothing & jewelry shops.}
{An amazing visit to the Mountain View atelier for the fabulous vintage jewelry shop Camille K – Stay tuned for another solo post on this amazing trip!}
I’m looking forward to seeing what January has to hold for me though and I’m also looking forward to sharing the fun details with all of you as well!
